In today’s competitive environment, virtually all successful startups are started by teams, especially those involving technology. Recent research indicates multiple-founder startups tend to be more successful across a wide range of metrics including survival. Working with diverse team members is an integral part of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Students enrolled in ENTR200 come from all colleges at Purdue University and thus have a widely diverse background, academic training, and interests. Additionally, a typical ENTR200 class has sophomores to graduating seniors as students.

In order to capture the essence of entrepreneurship in our classes, I have assigned students to teams to balance as much as possible their academic background and class standing. These assignments are available toward the top section of moodlelogo.gif.
