ENTR200 Mid Term Exam

My bias in learning and testing is heavily weighted toward application of the concepts and situations studied in class to the real world. After all, that is where entrepreneurship really takes place. As students in today’s classroom, you have grown up in a digital media world and quite often don’t perform up to your own expectations responding to a test in long hand writing. Recognizing the digital age mindset in my classrooms (me too), your Mid Term Exam will consist of both an In-Class exercise, and an “at-home” exercise. There MAY be an online test over the chapters covered in the textbook also.

For the In-Class portion of the Mid Term, past copies of my Mid Term exams with recent “keys” will be available on . You may be presented with a “case” such as Zappos.com, a new and unique output of current research (Purdue biofuels), or generation of an opportunity analysis from an off-the-wall current press article. Anything and everything discussed and/or assigned via is also fair game.

The @Home portion of the Mid Term will draw from the same pool of potential application scenarios; however, you will have at your disposal any and all digital media tools with which to respond. Surprise me! This portion of the Mid Term will be made available on before the Mid Term, and will be due via email prior to noon of the in class portion of the Mid Term.

All components of the Mid Term are to be completed on an individual basis.
